Conforming to Society.

Sooooo.. i'm not exactly sure how to start this. Or even IF i should really start this. I'm pretty sure i'll probably get two, maybe even THREE people reading my inserts every month or two IF i'm lucky..but i think i wanna start this blogspot for the sake of MYSELF, for me. So i can look back and read what went on in my life, the IMPORTANT stuff that happened in my life. No, i'm not gonna blog everyday or anything like that, just once in a while to summarize how life is and what's been going on with me:]

So the whole reason why i wanted to start this blog was actually for a specific reason...I call it "The So Far Best Day Of My Life." Wednesday May 27th 2009. It all started with me and my friend Emily Chen. We were off to Bakersfield to see Relient K's show. I had seen them the day before with my sister Pauline, but i just could NOT get enough of them, since they ARE my FAVORITE band (or ANY musicians for that matter). So i decided since i won't be able to see them for another who-knows-how-long, that i would drive an hour to pick up Emily from UCI, then drive about 3 hours to The Dome in Bakersfield. The MINUTE we get out of Troy (my car), we realize the HUMIDITY that Bakersfield has in store for us. From that point on, CONSTANT sweating.. literally, there was not a MOMENT i didn't have sweat on my forehead. The show was GRAND! Me and Emily got there fairly early so we were happy to see ourselves standing in the second row. But after SeaBird, Runner Runner, and Owl City performed, the girls in the front row left and me and Emily SQUEEZED ourselves right up in front of the stage:] No barracades, just the stage:] Of course, my boys did SPLENDIDLY<33 I'm SO GLAD they played High of 75, Mood Rings, and my PERSONAL favorite, a cover of the $5 Footlong Subway commercial!:] Made my LIFE! and when they played Deathbed, i swear, SO much MEANING in those lyrics. So much TRUTH. So much HEART<33 But the BEST part was AFTER the show!!! We went to the back where the bands' vans were. I had met the guys before at Warped Tour, but only for the signing in their tent, where time was limited since there was a line:[ And i did get to talk a little bit with Jon and Matt Hoopes the day before at their Pomona show... But this day was different. It was night so a lot of people already had left. This day was different because i got to actually hold a CONVERSATION with Matty<33 My hero. My motivator. My inspiration. My role model. My FAVORITE person on the face of this entire universe<33 So back in January i got my tattoo (which i will write a WHOLE separate blog JUST for that specifically). And i PROMISED myself that if i get to see Matty, i'd show him. So here's the moment of truth. The moment which made me love him even MORE than i already did (which i didn't think could POSSIBLY even happen). I wait until everyone takes pictures and gets autographs from him, since i wanted to ACTUALLY talk to him. Then i come up to him and ask for a picture first since i was SO SHY! Haha. What can i say the first time i met him i cried-___- But i was a big girl now! So i held in the tears to shed later and i asked him to sign my neon green poster that said "We Love Relient K!". He had remembered it from the night before since i was front row center at that show too. && he says, "Oh you were at the show yesterday too!" and then asks, "What's your name?" and i tell him "MO" then he starts saying MO over and over in his little cute singing voice and signs my poster which read, "Relient K Loves MO" :] OMG I LOVE HIM;] Anyyywayyysss, so i tell him that i want to show him something. And so i FINALLY show him my tattoo on my wrist with my FAVORITE song ever entitled "Up and Up" which, YES... he wrote. At first, i tell him to guess what song it was... sadly, he couldn't. Well he did, but i had to give him a hint. Hey, you can't blame him, he's written over a hundred songs and probably has SO MANY more in his head he just got confused! Haha. So i give him a hint, humming the first few notes until he realizes the tune. He said "NO WAY!" then told me that it was AMAZING and "SO COOL":] I asked for a hug<33 I swear when i hugged him, i didn't want to let go. I wish i could be in his arms forever. I held in my happy tears as best i could. Then he asks me if i liked the acoustic version of the song better or the rock version. I told him i liked the acoustic version better... He did too<33 We talked more about the song. He even told me that if he would have known how much i loved the song, he would have PLAYED IT FOR ME during the set! He apologized and said next time i come to see them, to myspace him before hand && they'll play it JUST for ME!<33 Oh what a SWEEEETheart! Next, i asked him to take a funny picture with me:] He asked me what i wanted for our funny picture... i couldn't think of ANYTHING, so he said that he would be a teapot and i had to be the sugar bowl! SO CUTE RIGHT?!<33 After that, me and Emily decided we wanted to take a jumping picture with him together... lemme just say.. that picture was EPIC FAIL -___- But it turned out cute either way cause we were all laughing :D Whew, ok one last thing.. so while we were about to leave i quickly looked through all my pictures to see how they came out, and i realized that the one i took with Matty came out blurry:[ so i speedy quick ran to him and asked him if i could take another one and he, being the NICEST person he is, of course takes one with me. and he made this CUTE face so i couldn't HELP but squeel out "OMG YOU'RE SO CUTE!!!!" and i was IMMEDIATELY embarrassed but he just shyed away all cute and said NAW:] Sighhhh<33 Then i told him i loved him so much and speedy quick said "Bye See you later!" & he said "Yah FOR SURE!";] Then i UNLEASHED my tears that i had been holding back that ENTIRE time. I can't believe that JUST happened! Did that JUST REALLY happen? Did my DREAM come true? WOW. I felt SO BLESSED<33

You truly are single handedly my FAVORITE of favorites. You define everything i want out of life, love, happiness, truth, friendship, music, and most importantly my walk with God. Your music, lyrics, touch me like NO OTHER. You have changed my life Matthew && you don't even have a clue. I find myself relating to your music more and more every single day. No matter how many times i listen to your music, i still seem to find something new that touches the DEEP spaces in my HEART<33 Thank You. Thank You for being YOU and Thank you for helping me, find ME<33 I HEART YOU...like no other!<33

That was WAY longer than i expected it to be. But it deserves to be long, there's NO WAY i can shorten it. If anything, i could have made it LONGER! I can't wait to meet you ALL again. Matty, Matt, John, Jon, and Ethan:] I love you ALL<33 And to Emily, you were there! You witnessed my best day. Thank You for enduring the HEAT, the long ROAD trip;] and for thinking of taking a Jumping Picture! My partner in crime<33 HURRAY!

I'll probably read it every once in a while
